They’re also nonmagnetic, have a high strength-to-weight ratio, and are about 40% lighter than steel spacers. Ultra-Corrosion-Resistant Grade 2 Titanium—Because Grade 2 titanium is 99% pure, it's even more corrosion resistant than other common titanium grades, such as Grades 5 and 9. These spacers are good for use in chemical-processing facilities since they stand up to strong acids and other harsh chemicals.
